The colours and the concept are similar to my last deviations'. But this is different. As I don't like very much the typical big princess dresses (you know), I tried to change the dress by adding more things, so it would look more... sci-fey fashion dressing I would say. Anyways, it didn't please me, so after a night watching "robots" and "I, robot", I decided to try a robot who would definitely set the photomanipulation on the sci-fi gallery.
Something really stupid about the image that I noticed just at the end: It's suposed to be a tall skyscraper and, if it existed, crystals would be bulletproof for avoiding accidents and suicides... So how did the bird break it? The woman is [link] by ~DelightfulStock , the little girl is painted from the same dress. The robot servant is [link] by ~AttempteStock , the dead bird from ~BlackDove-stock and the owl from [link] ~gorjuss-stock . And the background, once again, [link] and [link] from ~CRoWNsToCK I hope you like it. Daily DeviationGiven 2005-12-20Viewpoint by ~Nissun is like a scene from a Modern Day fairytale. Excellent use of stock combined with seamless blending. (Suggested by ~fearawaken and Featured by $chix0r) |

Maybe the bird is actually a cyborg/assassin/bomb-carrying-bird that was sent to kill that rich lady (maybe she's of royalty? or an important political figure?). And since the bird they used was part living (mentioned cyborg above), it's neck was crushed by the impact and the bomb never went off...
Hell, maybe the cy-bird was sent to kill the little girl because perhaps she's psychic or the only witness to an murder so in order to get away with the crime, she must die, too. Or maybe the robot servant used to be a military robot with secret information that could uncover the conspiracy, so the robot must be destroyed in order for the prime minister to get away with starting a war where the "terrorist" are really innocent civilians just so he could make more money.
Or maybe the bird is just super strong.
Anytheheckways, that is really awesome, and thank you so much for using my stock.

It's interesting that you mention Blade Runner, because upon first viewing and before reading your description, I thought to myself that this image with it's white owl and it's very robotic robot and it's beautiful colour palette is almost an anti-Blade Runner image. It's almost like a photo-negative of the production design of the film with it's ceaseless, toxic rain, it's more-human-than-human anddroids, and it's utter lack blue sky.
There is also something about this, and I think it is the tone of the colours and the juxtaposition of animals and archetypes, that reminds me of Michael Parkes.
Simply wonderful, no matter how you look at it.
