Life choices

I noticed how most of my latest works have been fanart, so here's this sketch of an original character to balance things out.

Oh wait. He's based on an alien I created in Spore!

Well, It doesn't matter, because Oodip's story has nothing to do with the game. And actually, in the end he doesn't look much like the original creature either: [link] [link] [link] [link]

He is like a monk of some kind, but here he works for a major space-religion, and later quits in favor of a more exotic belief system. (those of you who have played Spore will understand it better this way: He started off as a Zealot and later converted into an Ecologist. You know what I mean.)

He's another character of my ongoing attempts to create a funny, science-fiction "kitchen sink" universe to play with. I think the bright colors (by my standards) give it away really.

PS: It's a sketch, I know the anatomy is horrid. Not that I could improve it a lot if I were to polish it, but whatever.
